Fulham have re-signed winger Willian on a deal until the end of the season, six months after he left the club. The Brazilian, who played for the Cottagers from 2022-24, has rejoined as a free agent after leaving Olympiakos at the end of December.
Willian’s move did not need to be confirmed before Monday’s transfer deadline, as he was a free agent. The 36-year-old is now waiting for international clearance to complete his return to Craven Cottage.
During his previous spell at Fulham, Willian made 67 appearances, scoring 10 goals and providing seven assists. He has also had successful stints at Chelsea and Arsenal, winning the Premier League title twice with the Blues.
Fulham are currently preparing for their FA Cup fourth-round tie against Wigan on Saturday. Willian’s return to the club will provide a boost to Marco Silva’s squad as they look to progress in the competition.
