Goals from Mohamed Salah and Dominik Szoboszlai secured all three points for Liverpool against Pep Guardiola’s side at the Etihad Stadium. The win solidifies Liverpool’s position at the top of the Premier League table, now holding an 11-point lead over second-placed Arsenal.
In his post-match interview, Slot praised his team’s defensive discipline and their effectiveness in counter-attacking moments, which he believes were crucial to the victory.
