The 190- Match League of Ibadan Football Council (IFC) comes to a close tomorrow, Saturday, August 23.
The closing ceremony of the 88th edition of the oldest and biggest grassroot football festival in West Africa climaxes with a final match between defending champions Karim Adeyemi FC and SAKi UTD
The match is slated for 4pm inside the main bowl of Olubadan Stadium.
Aside from the 190th match, other activities lined up for the event include a Dance performance by the Explicit dancers,A live DJ, and Presentation of substantial Cash prizes,a trophy and individual awards to celebrate players who have put up outstanding performance in the tournament which kicked off February 14 this year.
Dignitaries expected on the occasion include the Honourable Commissioner for Sports,Hon.Wasilat A.Adegoke, the Executive Chairman of Oyo State Football Association (OYSFA) Oba James Odeniran, and members of the State FA board, executive chairman of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Hon. Taiwo Lekan-Salami, Legends of the Super Eagles, Dr.Felix Owolabi and Mutiu Adepoju, former Chairman of Oyo State Football Association, Barr.Leye Adepoju among other football stakeholders in the State.
