Plateau United technical adviser, Mbwas Mangut, has attributed his team’s 1-1 draw with Niger Tornadoes to the poor condition of the playing surface at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, reports, Afrosportnews.
Mangut expressed satisfaction with the result, stating that the team had aimed to secure maximum points. However, he noted that the pitch’s condition hindered his team’s performance and prevented them from playing their usual style.
Despite the draw, Plateau United moved up to 15th position in the league table. Mangut remains optimistic about the team’s prospects, urging fans to be patient as they work towards achieving their goals.
The technical adviser acknowledged that there are several factors that need to be addressed in order for the team to reach its full potential. He assured that the team is working on these areas to improve their performance.
