Lobi Stars Shake-Up: Mohammed Babaganaru Returns as Interim Boss After Amokachi’s Shock Exit – Can He Save Their Season?

In a dramatic turn of events, Mohammed Babaganaru has made a stunning return to Lobi Stars as interim head coach for the remainder of the season.

The experienced tactician, who previously managed the Pride of Benue during the 2022/23 campaign, steps in following the sudden resignation of former Super Eagles star Daniel Amokachi. Amokachi, who cited personal reasons for his departure two weeks ago, left the club languishing at the bottom of the table.

But that’s not all – Lobi Stars have also brought in John Gaadi as the new goalkeepers’ trainer, signaling a fresh start for the struggling side.

All eyes will now be on Babaganaru as he prepares for his first test: a high-stakes North-Central derby against Niger Tornadoes in Bauchi on Wednesday.

Can the returning boss turn things around and revive Lobi Stars’ season, or will the pressure prove too much? Stay tuned!
