After 165 career games, Malo Gusto finally scored his first senior goal, leading Chelsea to a comfortable 3-0 win over managerless Wolves at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea struggled to break through in the first half and were booed by fans at halftime, but Gusto’s header early in the second half opened the floodgates.
Substitute Estevão Willian set up Joao Pedro for the second just a minute after coming on, before Pedro Neto finished a swift counter-attack to seal the win.
Alejandro Garnacho was the star of the night, grabbing two assists in a dominant second-half display.
The victory lifts Chelsea to second in the Premier League with 20 points, while Wolves sink to the bottom with just two.
