Nigeria striker Anthony Nwakaeme scored a crucial goal as Trabzonspor thrashed Alanyaspor 3-0 in a Turkish Cup match on Wednesday.
Nwakaeme came off the bench at halftime, replacing Ozan Tufan, and made an instant impact by netting Trabzonspor’s third goal in the 69th minute.
The 35-year-old striker has now scored two goals in 15 appearances across all competitions for Trabzonspor this season.
Nwakaeme rejoined the Turkish club last summer after a two-year stint in Saudi Arabia, but has struggled with injuries since his return.
