Nigerian giants Rivers United are on a mission to conquer Africa as they jet out to Mozambique on Wednesday for their crucial CAF Champions League second-round first leg clash against Black Bulls.
The Pride of Rivers will depart via the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, after arriving in the city on Tuesday from Port Harcourt to finalize their travel plans.
The highly anticipated encounter is scheduled for Saturday, October 18, at the Campo da ABB Stadium in Maputo, where Rivers United will be aiming to secure a vital first-leg advantage.
Fans can expect fireworks in the return leg, which will take place a week later at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo.
With a spot in the prestigious group stage of the competition on the line, Rivers United will be looking to build on their impressive form after dispatching Congolese side FS Les Aigles in the first round.
