Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand has laid out a bold blueprint for the club’s upcoming summer transfer window, urging the Red Devils to launch a surprise swoop for legendary Polish striker Robert Lewandowski.
Ferdinand also expressed immense frustration over United’s past transfer recruitment, insisting that the club missed a massive trick by not securing Atalanta’s powerhouse midfielder Éderson two years ago.

“Lewandowski is not a bad shout either if they are going to get another striker,” Ferdinand stated. “If we brought him in, look at the experience he has, the amount of learning that Šeško will do. If you believe Šeško is the man for the next five years, the learning he could do behind Lewandowski—who is a wonderful, humble human being—he would teach and show Šeško the way.”
Ferdinand acknowledged that while the Polish icon’s wage demands “might be crazy,” his immense presence and leadership would completely transform a young United dressing room.
