AFCON 2027 Qualifiers: Tanzania to Arrive in Uyo on Sunday
Tanzania’s national team, the Taifa Stars, will arrive in Uyo on Sunday ahead of their 2027 AFCON qualifying encounter against Nigeria.
Head coach Miguel Gamondi has invited 24 players, comprising 12 home-based and 12 foreign-based professionals, for the double-header.
The early arrival is expected to give the team sufficient time to prepare for the encounter against the Super Eagles.
Nigeria will host Tanzania at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on November 13 before travelling to Dar es Salaam for the return fixture four days later.
