Ballon d’Or 2027: Raphinha Reveals What Matters More Than Individual Glory
Barcelona captain Raphinha has insisted that team success remains his priority despite growing discussions about his chances of winning the 2027 Ballon d’Or.
The Brazilian forward made his position clear when asked about the possibility of claiming football’s prestigious individual award, stressing that his commitment is to Barcelona rather than personal recognition.
“I will do my best for the club, not for individual awards. I have always put the interests of the club I play for first,” Raphinha said, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The former Leeds United star has enjoyed an impressive campaign, recording 19 goals and three assists across all competitions, strengthening his reputation as one of Europe’s standout performers.
Raphinha will now hope to continue his fine form and inspire Barcelona when they face Atletico Madrid in their LaLiga encounter this weekend.
