U-17 WWC Final: Tinubu Charges Flamingos to Make History Against Japan
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has urged Nigeria’s Flamingos to defeat Japan and win the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.
The Nigerian team booked their place in the final with an impressive 3–1 victory over Brazil in the semi-finals.
A victory would make Nigeria the first African country to win the competition.
Tinubu urged the players to maintain the determination and fighting spirit that have carried them to the final.
The encounter is scheduled for Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Nigerian time at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Rabat.
