SUPER EAGLES INVITE 25 PLAYERS FOR CRUCIAL BACK-TO-BACK TANZANIA CLASHES

Nigeria have reportedly invited 25 players to camp ahead of their back-to-back AFCON qualifying matches against Tanzania on November 13 and 17.

Although the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has yet to officially announce the squad, all invited players have reportedly been contacted and issued flight tickets.

The players are expected to arrive at the team’s camp in Uyo from tomorrow as preparations begin for the two crucial encounters.

Nigeria will host Tanzania in the first match next Friday before travelling to Dar es Salaam for the return fixture four days later.

The Super Eagles are targeting maximum points from both games to keep their qualification hopes alive after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Guinea-Bissau, having opened their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Madagascar.

With only one team expected to qualify from the group because of Tanzania’s status as one of the tournament hosts, Nigeria cannot afford further dropped points.
