KWARA UNITED HIT BY INJURY BLOW AHEAD OF RANGERS CLASH

Kwara United will be without midfielder Issa Gata for their Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 12 encounter against Rangers on Sunday.

Gata picked up an injury during training and has been ruled out of the crucial fixture.

The Harmony Boys will face Rangers at the Awka Township Stadium as they seek to return to winning ways following last weekend’s home defeat to Bendel Insurance.

His absence is expected to be a setback for the Ilorin-based side, with head coach Ashifat Suleiman now tasked with finding a suitable replacement.

Kwara United currently occupy 16th position on the NPFL table with 12 points from 11 matches and will be desperate to improve their standing.
