ARTETA WARNS ARSENAL PLAYERS: DON'T UNDERESTIMATE HULL CITY

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has warned his players against underestimating Hull City ahead of Saturday’s Premier League meeting at the Emirates Stadium.

Hull return to the English top flight after promotion and have impressed despite going eight matches without a victory in all competitions.

The Tigers have recorded five draws in their opening nine league matches, losing only twice under manager Sergej Jakirovic.

Arteta praised Hull’s performances against difficult opponents, saying they had earned their place in the Premier League through their efforts.

The Arsenal boss said his players had discussed Hull’s strengths and understood what would be required to secure victory.

Saturday’s encounter will be the final league fixture for both teams before the November international break.

Arteta also stressed that Arsenal must maintain high standards in attack, defence, set-pieces and transitions if they hope to sustain a title-winning campaign.
