MAN CITY IN CRISIS! FOREST HAND CITY THIRD STRAIGHT DEFEAT AS ARSENAL PULL SIX POINTS CLEAR
Manchester City suffered a shocking 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Saturday night, extending their losing streak to three consecutive matches.
Nottingham Forest made a flying start, scoring twice within the opening 20 minutes. Jair Cunha capitalised on a defensive error to open the scoring before Liam Delap raced through to double the hosts’ advantage.
City showed signs of a comeback early in the second half when Rayan Cherki produced a brilliant finish to reduce the deficit.
However, Delap completed his brace with a third goal for Forest following a swift counter-attack, putting the result beyond the visitors.
The defeat leaves Manchester City six points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal heading into the November international break, increasing the pressure on their title campaign.
