ARSENAL STORM SIX POINTS CLEAR AT THE TOP AFTER HARD-FOUGHT HULL CITY WIN

Arsenal secures narrow 1-0 victory over Hull City

Arsenal have strengthened their grip on the Premier League summit after securing a narrow 1-0 victory over Hull City on Saturday.

The Gunners struggled to break down the newly promoted side but eventually found the breakthrough in the 72nd minute.

Captain Martin Odegaard scored the decisive goal after goalkeeper spilled Noni Madueke’s effort into the penalty area, allowing the Norwegian to react quickest and finish.

The victory takes Mikel Arteta’s men to 27 points from 10 matches, opening a six-point gap at the top ahead of the November international break. However, Manchester City could reduce the advantage with a win over Nottingham Forest in the late kick-off.
