OKAFOR STUNS TOTTENHAM AS LEEDS END WINLESS RUN AND HALT SPURS’ WINNING STREAK
Leeds United secured a crucial 1-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, ending Spurs’ three-match winning streak in the Premier League.
The decisive moment came in the 79th minute when Noah Okafor found the back of the net to hand Leeds all three points at Stockley Park.
The encounter was largely uneventful in the first half, with two VAR decisions attracting attention. One involved a Tottenham handball penalty appeal, which VAR dismissed after ruling that the ball had struck Mateus Fernandes on the shoulder.
The victory ends Leeds’ five-game winless run and moves them up to eighth position with 14 points from 10 matches, while Tottenham drop to 11th with 12 points. Leeds will next face Chelsea on Saturday, November 21, 2026.
