LAZIO MOVE TO REWARD SUPER EAGLES STAR WITH IMPROVED CONTRACT

Serie A side Lazio have opened negotiations with Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru over a new contract extension, AFROSPORTNEWS reports.

According to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, the club has already held talks with the Nigerian international’s representatives over improved terms.

The 25-year-old is currently contracted to Lazio until 2028 but could receive a significant salary increase in recognition of his growing importance to the team.

Lazio are keen to conclude negotiations before the winter transfer window. Dele-Bashiru joined the Italian club from Turkish outfit Hatayspor in July 2025 and has continued to establish himself in the squad.
